2008 SEMA Show

STS Turbo booth at SEMA 2008
The new STS ZR7 Corvette was front and center and attracted a lot of attention. This is #1 of 50 ZR7s that STS will build in 2009. The rear of the car was lifted 30" in the air in order to show off its 700+ HP turbo system!

We believe in educating our customers. As can be seen here, a large portion of our booth at SEMA was dedicated to Q&A, Charts, and Videos that educated the customer about the pros and cons of all forced induction options, including the STS rear-mounted turbocharger system.

When it came time to choose a forced-induction system for their 2009 F150 that was displayed in the Ford booth at SEMA, Turbonetics chose a rear-mounted turbocharger system by STS Turbo.  We worked closely with Turbonetics to make this project a great success, and the truck will be touring with other Ford vehicles throughout 2009.

SEMA sponsored a fuel mileage competition this year that was open to all aftermarket companies and any aftermarket product. STS Turbo demonstrated the largest improvement in fuel economy compared to ANY other product in the competition!!!  Not only was fuel mileage better, but as you would expect, we also increased the Horsepower dramatically.

Once again, STS was awarded a New Product award at this year's SEMA show!  Our new Dodge Challenger twin turbo system won a SEMA Global Media Award.  As shown above, the twin-turbocharged Challenger was displayed just outside the main show entrance and received a large amount of attention.

STS was invited to participate in SEMA's "Making Green Cool" Zone which displayed products that improve fuel mileage, emissions, or both. Gene's Vettes, an STS dealer from Washington, displayed their black STS twin-turbocharged C6 Corvette in the "Green Zone" and received plenty of attention. Gene can be seen in the photo above being interviewed. For more information about how "green" a 700+ HP Corvette can be when utilizing our turbo system, contact STS or Genesvettes.com.

SEMA officially sponsors only a handful of Press Conferences during the week of the show, and the unveiling of the STS Turbo ZR7 Corvette was chosen to be one of them.  The Press Conference was well attended, and the ZR7 was very well received.  STS will only build 50 of these world-class, fully-upgraded, 700 horsepower supercars in 2009.

The Fidanza Corvette has been a crowd and media favorite in the past.  SEMA 2008 witnessed the unveiling of the STS twin-turbocharged Fidanza Viper!!!
