CONGRATULATIONS!!! To Doug Van Den Brink and the DVanz Racing Team for a 1st Place finish in front of 10's of thousands of fans at the drifting exhibition put on by Formula D and the WDC at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. This is the first event of its kind to be held at an IRL race.
Another big CONGRATULATIONS to Doug and the DVanz team for their win at the Formula D/ProAM Nationals Drifting Championship event in Laughlin, Nevada in November 2006. Doug battled clear through all the rounds and captured a 1st Place finish against some of the best drivers the industry has to offer.
Doug's Mustang has been shipped to STS to receive some updates for the turbo system in preparation for the 2007 Drifting season. The DVanz/STS Drift Mustang will be powered up and ready for 2007!
For all of you planning on attending PRI this year in Orlando, Doug has been invited to participate in an exclusive drifting exhibition there along with 4 other top drifting drivers during the PRI Sprint and Midget Classic event. See you there!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Goes out to Peter Boylan and the STS Turbo Australia Racing Team. Sydney Australia's Peter Boylan has made a great debut on the infamous Macau street circuit - scoring a podium finish in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race at the annual grand prix on November 19 2006.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! To Dave Martis with a 1st Place finish in his STS Powered #32 Ford Mustang. Dave Martis pulled out a victory with a lap time of 2.06.970 in the NASA's American Iron Series race at Buttonwillow Raceway near Bakersfiled Ca. June 10 and 11th. The car is running the American Iron Extreme (AIX) class.
"The STS turbo system has been flawless, maintenance free and is a huge help. The car is faster than most in my class. I just need to get more seat time to handle all this power. The turbo has been a big draw, with racers and spectators coming over to discuss the remote mounted turbo. Most everyone is impressed with the design. Kudos, Rick." Dave Martis

CONGRATULATIONS!!! To Troy and Shorty for their performances in the Masters of the Mountains race series at Miller Motorsports Park riding the STS CBR600RR Turbo bike. The bike has successfully competed in the last 2 endurance races (1 hour long) with a 1st place in team and 2nd place overal finish on Aug 19th. The bike has proven to be quite reliable and the turbo power is very controllable on the course. STS's patented remote mounting technology has brought a whole new dimension to turbocharging sport bikes (controllable boost and reliable power) which we expect will open up a previously 'tabu' option of turbocharging for adding power to both street and road coarse riding. Click on the video link below to see the STS Turbo Bike in action at Miller Motorsports Park.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! To Troy Buchanan and Shane Turpin for their outstanding performance in the Masters of the Mountains race series at Miller Motorsports Park on the STS CBR600RR Turbo bike. They dominated the race lapping all riders except the 2nd place rider (even the 1000 cc bikes). The 2nd place rider finished over 1 minute behind Troy and Shane in the 1 hour long endurace race. Great Job guys!
Thanks go out to Scott at Michelin Tires, VP Race Fuel and Redline Oil.

When we first started selling kits there was a lot of skepticism about whether or not they would work. Now, our customers have proven the system out through dyno numbers and track times. On LS1GTO.com, one of our GTO customers is the fastest in the country.
We're quickly moving from that can't work to - "it doesn't make sense that I'm getting more horsepower per pound of boost".
Over the past year we've had several racers contact us about developing systems for their cars. We've decided to work with a few of them and keep people informed about the progress.
The first is Dave Martis. Dave races in the American Iron Series in the American Iron Extreme (AIX) class. He drives a '96-98 SN 95 based body style Mustang. Dave's story is interesting to us because he was frustrated getting DNFs because of thrown belts with his Vortech Supercharger. To read about Dave's story and see pictures of his car click here.
The second is Doug Van Den Brink. Doug is the driver for a Mustang Drifting team based in North Carolina called D'Vanz Motorsports. Doug was a competitive driver in SCCA Formula Drift in 2005, but was competing with a stock motor in his Mustang. We're going to help him fix that problem by adding some remote mounted boost! 2006 NHRA Rulebook Change
Page 54 (2/06)
Exhaust System: Add to section, "Turbo applications, aftermarket header permitted - turbo must be located in engine compartment."
This new rule only applies to cars in the STOCK and SUPERSTOCK racing classes. The only turbo cars that can run in these classes are cars that came factory equipped with turbochargers (such as the Buick Grand National). This rule requires that the turbocharger on these factory turbo cars be located within the engine compartment. Apparently some attempts have been made to relocate the turbo outside of the engine bay on some vehicles in this class. This rule is to prevent them from gaining any type of advantage by changing the turbo configuration.
This new NHRA rule has nothing to do with STS customers taking their cars to the track. None of the vehicles that we currently build turbo systems for came equipped with factory turbochargers. So these vehicles will not be allowed to race in the STOCK or SUPERSTOCK class with a turbocharger anyway. If a track official questions the location of the turbocharger on one of our systems (relating it to this new rule) the track official needs to contact the NHRA Techline because this rule only applies to STOCK and SUPERSTOCK racing classes.
